 CSMU Technologies

Green Fuel Systems International (GFSI) through CSMU Technologies have developed a 'Dual Phase Induction System' ( Diesel Gas Induction System ) which allows any Diesel engine to run on a mixture of part Diesel / part LPG. This results in:
  • Save Thousands per Month Off Your Fuel Bill*
  • Improves Torque / Drivability
  • Reduces Emissions - Environment Friendly
  • Reduces Service Costs
  • Less Engine Wear and Tear .
Green Fuel Systems International (GFSI) through CSMU Technologies have systems for all Diesel engines, from the small commercial and 4X4, to rigid trucks and prime movers and stationary engines. The DPI module has many inherent safety systems, is remotely accessible by the GSM mobile network and has data logging capability.

All parts - equipment used in the GFSI system are AS1425 compliant GFSI only uses AGA approved main gas components.
 * Savings may vary according to engine capacity, individual usage and environment.

Visy Recycling to cut GHG truck emissions by 10 percent PDF Print E-mail

Source: www.ownerdriver.com.au

February 12, 2008

Visy Recycling aims to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of its recycling truck fleet by up to 10 percent, as it begins a trial this week with a new dual fuel system fitted to one of its recycling trucks in the Whitehorse City Council area, in Melbourne.

"When we saw the technology from Green Fuel Systems International (GFSI) we realised that we have possibly found a way to further reduce our carbon footprint and our emissions," says Steve Boland, Divisional Director, Visy Recycling.

If Australia continues to carry on in a business as usual manner, by 2020 emissions in the transport sector will be 104.8 million tonnes (Mt), according to projections by the Australian Greenhouse Office. It forecasts truck emissions to grow across Australia from about 27 Mt in 2008 to 36.4 Mt by 2020.

Clever idea comes from Thornton shed PDF Print E-mail

Some of Australia's most innovative thinkers working out of a Thornton shed have designed a gas/diesel fuel system that increases fuel efficiency by up to 20 percent.

The dual phase induction system designed by Green Fuel Systems International at CSMU Technologies uses injections of gas to increase fuel bum, resulting in increased horsepower and reduced fuel usage, greenhouse emissions and engine noise.

The 80120 diesel/gas mix is being trialled by Port Stephens Council, Perth's Swan City Council and massive Melbourne packaging, paper and recycling business Visy, which is in the middle of testing the technology and says it is "showing promise".

Mr Kilburn, operations manager and senior engineer for GFSI and CSMU, Said the work was part of the company's innovative agenda. He said he was awaitng a response from Maitland and Newcastle City councils about fitting their diesel fleets with the cost-cutting technology.
