Media releases For Kenworth.  Allan has fitted an LPG induction system. Designed by CSMU in Newcastle , the system feeds the engine with a mixture of 80 per cent diesel and 20 per cent gas and air.  According to Allan, it provides a significant improvement in horsepower, fuel economy and reduced emissions.

Dyno Results06Recently, Gossies carried out Dyno tests on 3 vehicles fitted with the GFSI System.  The results even impressed us.  For any who wonder if LPG Induction into Diesel Engines works, take a close look at the graphs and see for yourself! You will see a marked performance increase in both torque and power, right across the rev range.  As other Dyno Results become available, we will post them here for you viewing.

Whilst primarily designed for use in Diesel/LPG heavy trucks such as long haul Semi trailers the cylinder can be used in other applications within the transport and industrial industry where a conventional cylinder design may not be as practical.
