Our Newcastle Installation Premises

With GFS Sign - NewSmall

CSMU Technologies Pty. Ltd. (GFSI) is an Australian Company with offices in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Sydney, with representation in each Australian State and Territory. Recently we have established a presence in the UK.

CSMU Technologies (GFSI) have targeted the inefficiencies inherent in a Diesel engine and are constantly researching ways to enhance the performance of such engines, both technically and environmentally. Our motto is "Economic, Environmental, Efficient" and it is these core values that drive the company towards finding economically sustainable solutions, which reduce Particulate and Greenhouse emissions.

Dual Phase Induction (DPI) - System Overview

CSMU Technologies (GFSI) has developed a sophisticated Dual Phase Induction (DPI) computer module that controls the induction of either LPG or CNG into mechanical and electronic Diesel engines, whether stationary or mobile. The CSMU Technologies (GFSI ) system is based on the fumigation principle first observed by Rudolf Diesel, the inventor of the Diesel engine, in the 19th century. The system operates by simultaneously blending Diesel and Gas in the engine's combustion chamber, which results in a more efficient burn. Gas enters the engine (before the turbo charger) via the air filter. As a result of this operation, reduced Diesel consumption is observed with approximately 10-15% of the original Diesel volume being displaced by gas. Historically, a net fuel saving in the range of 10-20% is expected. This is dependent on external factors, such as age of plant and driver performance.

The various components of the system are installed externally to the engine and, at no time, is the engine disassembled or tampered with during the installation procedures.

About the Team

The CSMU Technologies (GFSI) System was designed by a group of experienced professionals, including Aircraft Engineers whose other projects included the Joint Strike Fighter Program for Lockheed Martin, the Hornet Upgrade Program for the RAAF with Boeing Australia, the Leadin Fighter Program for BAE Hawk in conjunction with BAE Systems for the RAAF and Control Systems with the Australian Navy.
